Yamaha Stage Custom Birch kit, Euro size Cran Red

Yamaha's Stage Custom Birch Euro 22” drum kit arrives in Cranberry Red as a six-ply birch shell configuration designed for resonance and sustain across compact to mid-sized setups. Birch remains the standard in high-end kit design, chosen for its tonal complexity and shell response. The 22” bass drum anchors a four-piece configuration that favours quick setup and tuning flexibility without sacrificing acoustic projection.

The Enhanced Sustain System (YESS) positions hardware at the nodal point of each shell–the area where mounting won't deaden vibration–paired with nylon bushings on rod clamps for stability during aggressive playing. The advanced ball mount uses an ultra-hard resin sphere held in titanium hardware, permitting non-slip tom positioning and bottom-head tuning via drum rotation. Die-cast claw hooks with rubber inserts minimise sympathetic ringing. Kit includes 10” and 12” mounted toms, 16” floor tom, 14” × 5.5” snare, and HW780 hardware set.

Stage Custom toms sit closer together than conventional designs thanks to YESS’ compact mounting footprint, ideal for drummers navigating tight live stages or studio spaces. The open sustain characteristic of the floor tom–particularly the 16” × 15” depth–projects well in band mixes without loss of articulation under heavy dynamics. No cymbals included; pairing with quality hardware and heads determines final voice.
